Although this should be in English, as is the rest of the blog, it comes up in French when I access it but basically just press the 'follow' or 's'abonner' button. It is on the right hand side of the blog page and I've put 'Subscribe to this blog' as the title just to make it easy for me to notice if it vanishes again! We are in the baie of Mont Saint Michel. It is supposed to be a micro-climate, akin to Jersey but this year so far it has been very cold - so happy the turmeric is in the greenhouse. It's a good idea to move your turmeric inside, even though your climate is warmer than ours in the Winter. I did leave one lot out in the greenhouse two years ago and it was a mistake. Our house has thick walls so the level of light is not brilliant but I did have them in their planters in front of the kitchen window as you can see in the above photo. It's really the temperature that is more important. Also I didn't water them unless they looked droopy. Mostly they took enough humidity out of the air in the kitchen, when we cooked. Really good luck with your plants, doing it this way you should have a great jump on the season next year and build up some good rhizomes for your next harvest. Does it need a lot of light?veronicahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09014627398376882098noreply@blogger.com
